Phaedra Beauchamp is a part-time cave dweller, reputed whistler, and lover of tree cover from Richmond, Virgina. Emerging from their home state to pursue an interdisciplinary BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Phaedra explored a multitude of mediums and has come to favor glass. Through this inherently poetic material they seek to celebrate symbiotic resonance by recreating familiar organic and inorganic forms, often drawing from the infinite well of inspiration that is the natural world.
